Xmas Pudding Dash Ashburnham 21st Dec 2013

Usually a very popular event with the club, this year just one intrepid member took part.  A tough 2 lap course over 5 miles Andy Bishop had this to say:
" Bit late I know but having got my amended result for this event thought I should send it in - finished 50th on that filthy, muddy day back before xmas in 39:47 (4th in my age group) so held up the clubs participation at least.  (they originally had me down in something like 55 mins and 220+ - glad the Garmin works even in that rain!)."
Very well done Andy - think the weather put people off! You are made of tough stuff!

Tri Adventure Experience Race Tilford Surrey 19th Jan 2014

Mike & Keith Stokes entered as the 'Geneious Team' in this 4hour race.  Stamina & strategy are tested in this off road race on foot & bike collecting as many check points as you can.
They ran 12 miles & cycled approximately 20 miles & despite Keith having a puncture were placed 3rd in the male pairs.  Mike went to school here & delighted in showing son Keith round his old cross country course (last run 50 years ago!!)

Tri Adventure run a range of events & can be found here: www.triadventure.co.uk if you fancy a different experience! Pics below:
