Several of the Juniors took part in a local schools cross country event on 18th November. Their club training is certainly reaping benefits with several of them securing top places. Well done to Jacob, Claudia, Libby, Poppy, Talia & Nate. Here is a picture of Claudia with her bronze medal.
The Run Together Run hosted by Danny Garbett took place in Eastbourne on Sunday 15th November. Sam and Michaela ran 5km. We are still awaiting the full results, however, we do know Sam ran 23:21, placed 1st Junior and 5th overall! The weather conditions were tough with a strong headwind. Several juniors ran the 2.5km.

Last Sunday saw the second of the ESSCCL races, this time at Snape Wood. Unfortunately the Juniors were turned too early but coach Andy managed to get a re run for our Juniors so that they covered the full distance. Full results are TBC. Conditions were nice and muddy as a cross country should be! Lots of pictures of the Juniors and adults can be seen in the Gallery. The next one of the series will be on Sunday 13th December at New Place Farm. Don't forget it's the club Christmas dinner the same day. (Don't worry if you're a bit late as there is always a queue for the carvery)
Date for your diary- On Christmas eve there will be a run with Danny Garbett's Run Wednesdays group. This will be from the St Bedes café Eastbourne over the hills. Distance is a 2 km and 4 km run, this is open to everyone so make sure you come along, time is 9 o'clock start, refreshments after.
